Dictatorship days are over: Zardari

ISLAMABAD: PPP Co-chairman Asif Zardari said on Monday that dictatorial rule had ended and urged the international community to help strengthen democracy in Pakistan. “The days of dictatorship are over and we, with the support and help of the people of Pakistan, have ensured that democracy is on track,” he told reporters after a joint parliamentary parties’ meeting of the would-be coalition government. He said that the coalition partners would work for the strengthening of democracy and supremacy of the parliament. staff report
